The room with a lake view was beautiful, but the bed felt too firm for my liking.

The location is in the main square, offering stunning views of the lake. The room had a spacious balcony where I could enjoy the view of the plaza and Lake Como.

Furniture in the room felt dated and worn, which could use a refresh. The noise from a nearby bar constantly seeped through the walls, making it hard to find peace. The bathroom carried a lingering breakfast odor that was distracting, and I could hear conversations from neighboring rooms quite clearly.

this hotel looked decent at first glance, but i was appalled, having to pay for parking? ! ridiculous. also, the rude check-in staff made me feel like an inconvenience. i almost thought about leaving a good review but just couldn’t since i expected a complimentary gesture for all this nonsense. only the view was 'nice'.

The location, the friendly staff, the charming café was simply delightful.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Hotel Du Lac Menaggio. The location is simply wonderful, right in the main square with stunning views of Lake Como. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, ensuring all my needs were met and providing recommendations for charming local eateries.

The location is totally on point, just a hop to the ferry, and the brekkie is a solid feast—lekker options! Our room was super clean and comfy, with a little terrace to sip sundowners. Plus, catching a live gig from the balcony was such a jol!

But the bathroom was a bit on the small side, felt cramped at times.

The rooftop infinity pool with stunning views is a real gem! I loved how close it was to the lake and the charming town square, perfect for evening strolls. But be aware, the bed was a bit too firm for my taste.

Stunning views and a perfect location

I absolutely loved my stay with breathtaking views from the rooftop infinity pool, which was such a highlight after a day of exploring. The room size was generous and kept very clean. The aroma of fresh croissants wafting through the hotel every morning was delightful. The location couldn't be more ideal, right on the town square with easy access to ferries and local shops. One downside was that the bed's firmness didn't quite match my preference for something softer.

the location of du lac is fantastic, just a short walk to the ferry and the bus stop. the views from the pool are jaw-dropping, making it a great spot to relax. i also loved the friendly service from the staff, who were attentive and made my stay even better.
